Yeap Cloud(we) needs to gether your personal data to prevent the risk from you and your user.

Sometimes you might have trouble when you do not take care of your website or your sever or your email and such things. This will lead to SPAM, account hijacking, rumor, DCMA compliant and other illegal things. That's why we need exactly your info to help us reduce the risk, because we only provide you service but we can not monitor your content and activities.

For this reason, some of your personal data should be collected, and you must know why, what, where and how.

Information(What)

Fortunately, for user in Europe doesn't need ID verification cause we only use your payment account as your ID. But other area like China, USA, UK, Hongkong, Canada must complete the ID verification by ID Card, passport, driver’s licenses. You will know after you register and login.

Your IP address and Browser user agent is critical feature to identify you. We used a technology called "Fingerprint" to log your unique device ID in case of fraud and cheat. And if you are using Yeap Cloud CDN, when your site is under attack, we also use this technology to identify your visitor to stop DDoS.

If you used Google, Facebook, Twitter or Github 3nd social login, we will record your account access token, but don't worry, this will not tell us your real account, it's encrypted and unique, only help us to recognize you. And the logs of you used our Console including duration, path, API you visit, and page or API error occurred.

Privacy Control(Where)

Your ID information is the highest level information, so that we will not exposed to the public netword.

Your personal ID only can use to verify if you have already register or used our service before. We do not read or display to anyone once the data is written down.

Your device ID and IP logs can not be erased unless you want us to delete all your service and account. But even if you do that, all your log still keep store until 6 month later. But usually we only store log for 12 month.
